FAQs

Why is your NMN more stable or better?

Not all NMN is the same, despite being the “same molecule”. Stability of NMN is largely determined by the surrounding water molecules and the organization of the NMN with other surrounding NMN molecules. The water molecules are polar (having different electric charges on different sides), which can impact the electron configuration of the NMN molecule and lead to less stability.

Creating NMN that is more orderly organized and more compactly arranged improves the destabilizing interaction with water molecules both in the product and with water from air. Creating more high-density NMN by reducing water content improves stability.

Furthermore, there exist even more crystalline NMN (and NMN derivatives), which involves specific organization of the NMN molecules, for which David Sinclair’s company MetroBiotech has filed patents. See for example:

However, this is likely overkill.

Regarding testing, our NMN has been tested via HPLC, LC-MS, LC-MSMS, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, etc. This has been done internally. Our NMN comes from one of the largest, most reputable and science-based manufacturers of NMN in the world. We ourselves take this NMN, and so do many of our family members.

Many brands indeed sell low-quality, early-generation NMN, or even adulterated NMN. This is precisely one of the reasons why we created NOVOS.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
